Overview – What Is the PM Punjab Laptop Scheme?

The Punjab Laptop Scheme Phase 5 is a continuation of the government’s previous laptop distribution programs launched under PM Nawaz Sharif and CM Maryam Nawaz.
This new phase focuses on merit-based distribution among university and college students who have shown outstanding academic performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the following requirements to qualify:

• Must be a resident of Punjab with a valid CNIC or B-Form.
• Enrolled in public sector universities or colleges recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Have a minimum 70% marks (semester system) or 60% marks (annual system).
• Not have received a laptop under any previous government scheme.
• Must be a regular student (not private candidate).

Note: Students of technical institutes and special education universities may also be included under special quotas.
